Have you heard your teen talk about wanting to go skiing with a friend named Molly, or maybe you’ve overhead them asking their friends to bring over Skittles for hanging out? While these may seem like harmless topics, your kids may actually being discussing the latest drug trends.

Surprise Police Chief Michael Frazier

For his leadership and commitment to drug and alcohol prevention, we are proud to recognize Surprise Police Chief Michael Frazier. Chief Frazier has served as president of the Arizona Association of Chiefs of Police for the past year and has brought statewide awareness to the importance and value of prevention. As he turns over the gavel to the new AACOP president, Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor, we remember the “three legged stool” that Chief Frazier describes. When addressing the drug issue, you have a comprehensive approach of three legs: enforcement, treatment, and prevention education. If you take away one, what happens? Thank you Chief Frazier!
