Dangerous Because:


    Taking high doses may result in dangerously high body temperatures and an irregular
    heartbeat. Potential for heart attacks or lethal seizures.

Arizona Teen Facts:
(Grades 8-12) 		     In 2010, more 12th graders abused prescription stimulants than in 2008

Signs of Abuse:
    Lack of appetite, increased alertness, attention span and energy
Important to Know:
    Many teens abuse this prescribed medication to help them cram for exams or suppress
     their appetite.
